Timmy wrote his first book at eighteen to make his four-year-old brother laugh. That bedtime experiment became Billy the Dragon—and the beginning of a career built around a simple belief: the first job of an educational story is to make a child want to keep turning pages.
After a decade with the Walt Disney Company as an actor and puppeteer, Timmy took his stories into schools across the United States. Today, he is the founder of Dinosaur House, creator of the DinoPreneurs curriculum, and host of four podcast series spanning entrepreneurship, literacy, writing and children’s media.

Timmy Bauer is an Orlando-based children’s author, illustrator, entrepreneur, podcast host and former Walt Disney Company performer. He is the founder of Dinosaur House, a children’s-book production company that helps entrepreneurs and industry leaders transform their ideas and values into books for children. He is also the creator of Lucas the Dinosaur Entrepreneur and DinoPreneurs, a story-driven curriculum designed to teach children creativity, generosity, problem-solving and entrepreneurial thinking.
